About
Both of my parents were born and raised in Ghana. After they got married they moved to London, and later that year, I was born. A couple of years later, they decided to move to America. In the first couple of years in America, we lived in lower-class apartments in Marietta while my mom was going to Kennesaw State University trying to get a degree in nursing. My dad worked as an engineer, but after my mom was able to become an RN, my dad decided to go back to school to become a pharmacist. During that time we were living in a lower-middle-class apartment. After my dad was able to get hired, we moved into a much better house in Acworth. The hard work I’ve witnessed my parents do inspires me to do the same so that I can give my future children the same life I’m able to have right now.
